Meet The Staff
Michelle Wein
Executive DirectorMichelle leads the Boyne Forever Foundation, guiding its mission to support the unique character and vitality of Boyne Resorts through thoughtful philanthropy and legacy giving. She brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, workforce research, and community development across nonprofit, government and private sectors in Michigan and Washington, D.C. A lifelong Boyne Mountain enthusiast and member of the National Ski Patrol, Michelle has a deep personal connection to the resort and its community. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Mathematics with Honors from the University of Michigan.
Meet The Board

Stephen Kircher
Stephen Kircher serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyne Resorts, operating 13 mountain and lakeside resorts across the continent. Since joining the family business full-time in 1988, he has transformed the company from his father's original $1 investment in 1948 into North America’s largest family-run, four-season resort company and third-largest mountain resort operator. His deep commitment to the industry is reflected in his board leadership for the National Ski Areas Association and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame. A passionate outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, snowboarding, golf, sailing, and travel, Stephen divides his time between Northern Michigan, Big Sky, Montana, and New York City with his wife Molly and their four children.

Barbara Rowley
Barbara Rowley is a journalist and a community builder, bringing both skills together to help create the vibrant town of Big Sky, Montana over the last three and a half decade where she has been a key player in creating camps, parks, trails, and educational opportunities and improvements. She holds degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and Northwestern.

Randy Doyle
Retired General Manager, Brighton Resort
Randy Doyle is the retired General Manager of Brighton Resort, where he led operations and guest experiences at one of Utah’s premier ski destinations. He also served as Board President of the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, advancing the organization’s mission to promote environmental education and stewardship in the Wasatch Mountains. With decades of leadership in the outdoor recreation industry, Randy has been a dedicated advocate for both mountain communities and the natural landscapes that sustain them.
